Since the introduction of my first web site 13 years ago, many wonderful sites and services have become available serving the amateur radio community. As a result, I've scaled down my site considerably. My renewed focus is to offer complementary content . The Canadian Amateur Radio Email Database is my latest contribution.

The Canadian Amateur Radio Email Database Website has been completely redesigned! Have you added or updated your email address yet? It contains 3250 entries! Check it out & register today!
I've recently added security features which will help protect it against email address collection.

About Dino,VA6DM

Since the late 70's, I have operated under various callsigns including VE2FSA, VE2EK, VE2DM and VA6DM.

I've been active on HF CW/SSB and VHF/UHF FM and digital modes using modest radio and antenna installations. My main field of interest as always been public service and emergency communications. I organized my first event at 15 years of age.

I later became involved with the VE2RM club and occupied every position on the board of directors over the years and participated in the maintenance of the various repeater systems we operated atop Mount Rigaud, Québec.

I operated the first packet BBS system on 145.01 MHz in Montreal and participated in the initial growth of the network across the province. This would spark an interest in the internet and the design of web pages and the development of the email database I currently maintain.

Established in Calgary, Alberta for over a decade, my presence on the airwaves has been sparse due to antenna limitations and newfound interests.
