Welcome to the Canadian Amateur Radio Email Database Website!
This site has undergone many changes over the last fourteen years. Following a serious attack on the site in early 2007, I undertook the task of updating it with a new, cleaner look. As part of the process I chose to rewrite much of the code to include a higher level of protection against future attacks and to protect the database from being mined. Therefore, you'll notice that you can no longer generate a list of amateur radio operator's emails. Furthermore, the results of a search displays the email address as a graphical representation of the address instead of plain text.
The database is now linked to the Industry Canada database of Canadian amateur radio
operators to validate callsigns and save you the effort of entering your name and
other information. The search output includes the amateur's web site URL,
if it was entered by the user at time of submission. Please note that at no time are the email addresses contained in the database obtained from a source other than the online forms found on this site. Furthermore, the database is not shared, distributed or made available to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.
I've just added a poll to the website and invite you to take a quick second to participate. It'd be great to find out what aspects of this site you may have found useful or what brought here.
You may have noticed that I've also added a Silent Key section hosted by Wordpress.com. Through the information supplied by VE5WAM, I'm able to provide a centralized location for posting silent key notices from across the country. Of course, I welcome any notices from any other sources provided they are in the public domain and can be verified.
Thank you for your continued support and please drop me a note if you have
any comments or suggestions for the site.
